Andrea Mitchell Sick- What Happened To Her?

Some internet viewers noticed that Andrea's voice sounded shakier throughout her recent broadcasts, and they questioned whether she was unwell.

In September 2011, Andrea revealed that she was diagnosed with breast cancer identified during an annual screening. She learned that she had canceled her vacation in the earliest stage.

Andrea said, “I had planned to be hiking in Wyoming last week, but instead discovered that I am now among the 1 in 8 women in this country, incredibly 1 in 8, who have had breast cancer."

Luckily, her cancer was caught early so that she could cure with less complexity. However, her prognosis was "terrific" and did not explain her treatment plan. Andrea went on to urge other ladies to have their bodies inspected.

Mitchell chatted with Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Amy Klobuchar on the field of a breast cancer awareness month charity softball game.

She said, "My narrative is that I was at the Iowa caucus and sat down to interview Congresswoman Wasserman Schultz, and I had just flunked my mammogram but hadn't had time to receive treatment; I had to travel straight to Iowa," she explained.
