Elizabeth Frances Rigby AKA Beth Rigby is a British journalist who was born on February 19, 1976. She joined Sky News in 2016 and was promoted to political editor in 2019. She formerly worked for the Financial Times and The Times as a newspaper journalist.

Furthermore, Rigby was linked to the role when Laura Kuenssberg announced her resignation as BBC News' political editor. She hosts Beth Rigby Interviews, a chat program that premiered in March 2022 on Sky News on Thursday nights. Beth Rigby will remain as Sky News' political editor until at least the next general election, according to Andrew Billen of The Times.

Beth Rigby, a Sky News political editor, took a stroll with her husband for the first time since she was suspended for violating Kay Burley's Covid rule at her 60th birthday party.

Kay Burley, a 44-year-old journalist, was forced off the air for six months after a Sky News internal probe. She had gone to a restaurant in central London with nine other people and then used the restroom of another restaurant after the 11 p.m. curfew.

Beth Rigby and two others along with Miss Burley then continued the celebration in their Knightsbridge house. They are apparently looking for Sky employees who allegedly notified photographers that they were breaching Covid guidelines.

Angelo Acanfora is her husband, and they have two children together. In 2016, her husband left his job as a graphic designer to become a stay-at-home dad. She is a resident of North London.
