Fans are wondering if Danielle Mone Truitt is leaving Law and Order: Organized Crime after the latest trailer.

You may remember Danielle from her roles in Fox's television series Deputy and BET's television series Rebel. She portrays the role of NYPD Sergeant Ayanna Bell on the popular NBC crime drama series Law & Order: Organized Crime.

Premiered on April 1, 2021, on NBC, the crime drama stars Christopher Meloni as Elliot Stabler Sr., reprising his role from Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. The series centers on a single-arc storyline that needs multiple episodes to resolve.

The second season of the show with 22 episodes premiered on September 23, 2021. In May 2022, the series was renewed for a third time which premiered on September 22, 2022. 

Following the latest trailer of the series, fans of NBC's hit procedural drama could be in for a major surprise when the newest episode of season three premieres. The trailer has hinted at a mass exit and people are concerned if it's Danielle who is leaving the show.

The recent trailer of Law & Order has hinted at a mass exit, and fans are worried if it could be Danielle Mone Truitt who portrays the beloved character NYPD Sergeant Ayanna Bell. People are afraid that the crime-solving division may no longer be in action.

With only three seasons in, is the hit NBC show preparing to say goodbye to some of the favorite characters in the upcoming episodes? In the trailer for Whipping Post, Sergeant Ayanna (Danielle) received unsettling news.

The news led her to query Deputy Inspector Lillian Goldfarb (portrayed by Janel Moloney), "You're closing the IC task force?" The trailer centered on her concerned face and those of the team as she asked, "What about my detectives?"

Goldfarb responded, "They'll be reassigned," while Ayanna said, "All of my open cases?" "We'll hand them off," Goldfarb replied in a nonchalant way.

Though the fate of the Organized Crime department appeared doomed, it was clear Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) was willing to do everything he could to save the unit as he confirmed to Ayanna, "My heart and soul are in this place."

Rumors Of The Show Cancellation

Fans have taken to social media with concern after a recent clue hinted at Law & Order coming to an end.

NBC's crime drama became an instant hit and gained thousands of fans as it marked the return of beloved Christopher Meloni to the franchise. He reprised his character Elliot Stabler and won hearts with his long-awaited return to the screens.

Despite his highly anticipated comeback, viewers fear bidding goodbye to their favorite character after coming across a major clue. The Law and Order franchise expanded its show in 2021 with the release of Organized Crime.

As a result, fans were delighted with the comeback of Meloni after his unexpected exit from Law and Order: SVU in 2011. Following the recent episode, Whipping Post, fans were staggered after it was revealed the city is planning to disband the OC unit.

As the upcoming episode is delayed for a week, viewers took to their social media handle and pleaded not to cancel the series. A concerned @saber_smith tweeted, "Do not cancel org crime, I love that show." @MarshMelonGurl stated, "Y’all really ending OC???”

Viewers have to stay tuned to the upcoming episode to see if the organized crime division will be disbanded and truly come to an end.

Recent Cast Who Departed From Law And Order

Kelli Giddish

Kelli Giddish who portrays Detective Amanda Rollins announced this summer that she would be leaving the show mid-season.

She would be departing the long-running crime drama series, saying goodbye to her character, Detective Rollins. Her final episode is approaching as the teaser for the Season 24 fall finale, scheduled to air on December 8, promises an emotional farewell to the detective.

The teaser debuted on Thursday night and featured Rollins saying, "I'm leaving SVU."

The 15-second short teaser displays a clip of the detective entering a courtroom and carrying a bouquet as her fellow workers and love interest Dominick Carisi (Peter Scanvino turn around and appear stunned by her presence.

While the 42-year-old star didn't reveal her reason for quitting the popular Emmy-winning series, she stated that playing the role of Rollins has been one of her life's greatest joys and privileges. She has been part of the Law & Order family for the last 12 years.

Demore Barnes

After playing the role of Deputy Chief Christian Garland on Law & Order: SVU from 2019 to 2021, Demore Barned departed the long-running show. His character left after voicing concerns about police misconduct following a case.

On October 6, 2020, Demore, who has recurred throughout season 21 as Garland, was upgraded to regular status for the upcoming season. On September 3, 2021, it was known that he and Jamie Gray Hyder would leave the series after the two-hour season 23 premiere.

However, the actor made a guest appearance in season 1 of Law & Order: Organized Crime. Moreover, Demore is notable for portraying the archangel Raphel in Supernatural and Sergeant First Class Hector Willimas in the CBS television series The Unit.

Christopher Meloni

Christopher Meloni portrayed Benson's partner and longtime friend, Elliot Stable, for 12 seasons of the series. He left the show in 2011 and in March 2020, it was reported that he was ahead of a Dick Wolf spinoff series.

He would reprise his detective role in the spinoff. Since his departure, Christopher played on Surviving Jack, Underground, and True Blood. He also appeared in two television reboots of Wet Hot American Summer, First Day of Camp (2015) and Ten Years Later (2017).

From 2017 until 2019, he starred in Happy! and further appeared in The Handmaid's Tale and Maxx. His other notable films include Man of Steel, 12 Monkeys, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Wet Hot American Summer, and Runaway Bride.

In 2021, Christopher returned to the Law & Order franchise to reprise his original role.
