The actor had to go through several experiments while doctors were trying to know more about his diagnosis. Physicians experimented on him by injecting him with all kinds of things and rubbing expensive stuff into his scalp.

He explained how he was treated as a lab rat while a medic examined him and injected him in front of hundreds of medical students. His hair loss forced him to make a choice -to give up and end his precious life or reinvent himself.

Gatt opted to use his Alopecia as a reason to create a better version of himself that he and others could love. He then joined drama school, started going to the gym, build his confidence, and the rest is history.

In an open letter uploaded on Facebook, the Dumbo actor opened up about how his acting career has in many ways been shaped by his hair loss. He has always been vocal about his condition and has stated he first started losing her hair at age 11.
