Doug Luzader and his wife Jennifer Suzara recently learned about their daughter Kyla's epilepsy.

Based in Washington D.C., United States, Luzader has been working with Fox News for the past two decades. He joined the news company in 2002 and has become an inevitable part of Fox's reporting team. 

While covering the news, the Fox News correspondent traveled across various parts of the world. In 2012, he reported from the Middle East and spent a month working in Baghdad, covering the work in Iraq.

Luzader once came to the news after being part of a funny incident. The reporter was found asleep when one of his reporters tried to connect him from the Austin bureau.

The Fox News reporter was born in the United States on August 19, 1968. He completed his graduation from Michigan State University in Social Science.

Meet Doug Luzader's Wife Jennifer Suzara

Doug Luzader, the 54-year-old US journalist, has remained married to his wife, Jennifer Suzara, for a long time, and the couple has raised two beautiful daughters.

While Luzader has been the voice of the public and frequently interacts with them, his partner, Suzara, has remained coy about her personal life and keeps a very low profile.

However, once she gave an interview along with her husband on Fox 11, regarding their daughter's health condition. She described the journey as fear, trauma, sadness, hope, and joy.

Apart from that, Suzara made regular appearances on her husband's Instagram account. Recently, Doug shared a picture with his wife and children, celebrating Halloween. 

In addition, the 54-year-old journalist also shared a series of pictures from his tour of the sea beach, where he can be seen sailing on the boat with his family.

With some eye-catching pictures, he wrote, "A little beat up after our trip across the St. Michaels Marina today. Our little crew battled 20-25 knot winds the entire way, finally arriving in beautiful and one of our favorite places to stay." 

Doug Ludazer's Daughter Kyla Got Diagnosed With Epilepsy

Doug Luzader's daughter, Kyla, got diagnosed with epilepsy in January 2020. It is a condition that affects the brain and causes frequent seizures, the worst possible moment for any parent.

On January 21, 2020,  the three-year-old Kyla suddenly fell off her chair while having breakfast and began convulsing on the floor. Immediately after, Luzader's wife, Jennifer, called the ambulance, and Kyla was taken to the hospital.

The medical team discovered that Kyla had epilepsy. Then what followed was an emotional rollercoaster journey for the couple. Their 3-year-old daughter spent several weeks in the hospital.

As November is considered National Epilepsy Awareness Month, the Fox News journalist shared his family's journey and fight with epilepsy. He tried to figure out how her three-year-old daughter won over the disease.

The 54-year-old Fox News correspondent shared some ideas on treating the disease. He stated that they completely changed Kyla's diet, feeding her only a ketogenic diet and changing the kitchen to a paramedical room.

Kyla Is Now 5 Years Old And Is Improving

After following a strict diet plan and medications and spending several weeks in the hospital bed, Kyla's health has improved significantly.

Five-year-old Kyla is now living an everyday life and has joined kindergarten. She is delighted to be back with her friends and is still following a strict diet, which she calls her 'magic diet.'

Kyla's recovery is quite remarkable and inspiring for many parents whose children are suffering from this disease. With Kyla's recovery, the family has also rediscovered their life. We wish Kyla a speedy recovery. May God bless her.
