Polish fighter Joanna Jedrzejczyk was left disfigured by Zhang Weili, which made her look like the cartoon character, Megamind, after their bout at UFC 248. She is set to fight the Chinese in a rematch of their 2020 Las Vegas classic. 

Considered one of the greatest female fights in the history of UFC, the match was one of the most brutal in history and left both the fighters with bruises on their faces. Both had to be admitted to the hospital following the clash.

The battle between the two, one of the most anticipated rematches in UFC history is set to take place in UFC 275 on June 11, 2022, in Singapore. The event is set to be headlined by the Men's Lightweight Championship fight between reigning champion Glover Teixeira and Jiří Procházka.

Both the fighters were taken to the hospital following the epic five-round clash in UFC 248 held in Las Vegas. The brutal 25-minute fight was considered one of the best in the promotion's history.

The brutal fight left the Polish fighter, Joanna Jedrzejczyk with several bruises on her face and head. She was severely disfigured and had to be taken to the hospital following the epic clash. Both her and Zhang's health and well-being were a topic of concern following the fight.

The clash, which earned the Fight of the Night award at UFC 248 held in Las Vegas, was considered as the greatest women's MMA fight in history by many pundits. After the fight, both Joanna and Zhang were handed a two-month medical suspension, with a non-contact sparring clause.

The resilient former champion recovered but has not fought ever since the classic. She is set to return to the octagon for her rematch with the Chinese fighter at UFC 275. On the other hand, Zhang went on to lose the title to Rosa Namajunas at UFC 261 and also lost the subsequent rematch at UFC 268.

A rematch between the two of the best fighters in UFC history is set to take place on June 11, 2022, at UFC 275 set to be held in Singapore. Joanna Jedrzejczyk is set to avenge her 2020 loss with the Chinese fighter at UFC 248.
