Louis Ozawa Changchien married wife Jackie Chung shortly after the first meet while shooting NYU Graduate short film. Jackie is an actress who started her acting career in 2005.

Jackie has performed with theatres such as Berkeley Repertory Theatre and Center Theatre Group.

Changchien is part of a family of performers. His Japanese mother was dabbling in modeling and acting when she was in her early twenties. And then his wife, Jackie, is an accomplished actress known for starring in Wayne Wang's film Coming Home Again.

In the American-South Korean drama film, Jackie portrayed the role of mom while Louis had a tiny role. The pair first met while shooting a New York University graduate short film which was directed by a man named Jae Choe.

They became good friends and years later, Jae even officiated their wedding. Shortly after meeting while shooting the short film, the pair knew they were made for each other and decided to tie the knot in presence of their loved ones.

Most recently Jackie stunned her viewers with her remarkable performance as Laurel in the coming-of-age romantic drama television series The Summer I Turned Pretty. The first season of the series consisting of seven episodes premiered on June 17, 2022.

Her other credits include playing in Kimber Lee's play "Brownsville Song" from March 14 to April 6, 2014, in the Humana Festival production at the Pamela Brown Auditorium. Cherene Snow, Joshua Boone, Sally Diallo, and John Clarence Stewart were also in the cast.

Jackie and Louis are the parents of two

Louis and Jackie welcomed their first child, son Bodi, in April 2015. The youngest addition to the family, son Tyrus, was born in October 2019.

On April 16, 2020, Louis shared a cheerful picture of his son Bodi celebrating his fifth birthday. The actor also marked his sixth birthday on Instagram a year later with a sweet caption saying, "A boy and his dog. Can’t believe my baby boy is 6! Birthday week."

Bodi has also appeared in a commercial for Kohls. The commercial ran during the Oscars and featured Spanish actress Penelope Cruz among other actors. Joey went in to portray dad and the child who he was supposed to be paired up with didn't come.

At the time Bodi was with him, so he brought him into the audition. The casting team fell in love with the little kids and yes it was his first gig around six-month-old with the famous cinematographer Lance Accord.

While the pair were attending the Busan Film Festival to promote Coming Home Again in October 2019, Jackie unexpectedly gave birth to their youngest son Tyrus.

The pair often attend various events together

Remember when the loving pair attended the NYC premiere of the Prime Videos television series "The Summer I Turned Pretty" on June 14, 2022? Jackie also shared beautiful pictures of herself with her husband and other casts on her Instagram.

On December 17, 2022, the couple appeared at the 20th Annual Unforgettable Asian American Awards in The Beverly Hilton, Beverly Hills, California. The actress has also shared several snaps from the event on her Instagram handle.

Besides their professional life, Louis and Jackie are now the parents of two kids. They keep their family as their first priority and spend as much time as possible with each other.
