The NBA star, along with his young 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, and seven others, lost their lives in a fatal helicopter crash on January 26, 2020. The group was flying to Camarillo Airport in Ventura County for a basketball game in Thousand Oaks.
The Los Angeles Police Department helicopter and other air traffic were grounded due to light rain and fog that morning. The flight tracker showed the helicopter circled above the Los Angeles Zoo due to heavy air traffic in the area.
The helicopter then faced extreme fog and turned south towards the mountains. It climbed rapidly from 1,200 to 2,000 feet, flying at 161 knots (298 km/h). At 9:45 a.m., the helicopter crashed into the side of a mountain in Calabasas.
All nine passengers were killed on impact. Initial reports stated that the helicopter crashed in heavy fog in the hills above Calabasas. According to the witnesses, they heard the helicopter struggling before hitting.

According to the report, the nine passengers involved in the fatal helicopter crash died of gruff injury. 13-year-old Gianna, alongside her dad, Kobe Bryant, and seven others, died of the gruff wound.
The young girl's reports are weighty to process. As indicated by her post-mortem report, no mind matter was tracked down on her skull. Due to hauling in the grim accident, Gianna's spine went through her head and harmed the entire body.

Kobe Bryant, his daughter, Gianna Bryant, six family friends, and the pilot, Ara Zobayan, died in a tragic helicopter crash on January 26, 2020.
The group was traveling to attend a basketball game in Ventura County at Mamba Sports Academy in Thousand Oaks. There was light rain and fog that morning, due to which most of the air traffic were grounded.
The helicopter with eight passengers, including Kobe and his daughter, circled above the L.A. Zoo due to heavy air traffic in the area. At 9:30 a.m., the pilot contacted the Burbank Airport's control tower and stated the tower of the situation.
The control tower notified him that he was flying too low to be tracked by radar. Meanwhile, the helicopter experienced extreme fog and turned south. Sadly, the helicopter crashed into the side of a mountain at 9:45 a.m. in Calabasas and began burning.
Unfortunately, the tragic crash prompted the death of every nine on board. There was no mechanical disappointment reported before the accident. Kobe suffered catastrophic lethal injuries, brain damage, and thirty percent burns.

Trial Begins In Lawsuit Over Gianna Bryant And Kobe Bryant Crash Photos
Kobe Bryant's wife, Vanessa Bryant, is taking her lawsuit against the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and Fire Department to a federal jury.
Vanessa is seeking compensation for pictures deputies shared of the remains of the NBA legend, his 13-year-old daughter, and seven others who lost their lives in the fatal helicopter crash.
Her invasion of privacy trial began Wednesday in a U.S. District Court. Vanessa is seeking compensation for images of the NBA star's corpse that surfaced after he died in a crash with their loving daughters and seven others in January 2020.
She has also sued the deceased pilot's estate and the helicopter charter company. The county has argued that Vanessa suffered emotional distress from the deaths, not the images which were ordered to be deleted by Sheriff Alex Villanueva.
